What We Do
- WHERE WE WORK
Welcome Message from Carol Jenkins
For more than 85 years, World Learning has equipped individuals and institutions to address the world’s most pressing problems. We believe that, working together with our partners, we can change this world for the better.
On my travels, I’ve had the opportunity to meet with many of those who have joined us in this mission. In Baghdad, we’ve trained more than 2,300 Iraqi youth who are already giving back at home. In London, our partners in the TAAP Initiative strongly believe that we are all responsible to practice inclusion. And in Vermont, our Experiment in International Living and School for International Training participants prove every day that they have the tools and the determination to change the world.
Please join us in our pursuit of a more peaceful and just world.
- Get Involved
World Learning takes pride in its global network of alumni. Our development programs support people around world as they strengthen their communities, and each year we also bring more than 2,000 emerging leaders to the U.S. on youth, academic, and professional exchanges. We want to celebrate these alumni and help them continue their valuable work. Here, alumni will find a list of resources designed to inspire, connect, and encourage them as they create a more peaceful and just world.
World Learning is a member of the World Learning Inc. family, which also includes The Experiment in International Living and School for International Training (SIT). Over the past 85 years, World Learning Inc. has built a network of more than 100,000 alumni.
Please visit the World Learning Inc. alumni webpage for an extended list of alumni resources, including information about how to volunteer and pursue fellowship opportunities. If you are an alumnus or alumna of The Experiment, SIT, or the International Honors Program, you will also find our alumni community and directory on this page, which we invite you to join.
