About Us
Welcome Message from Carol Jenkins
For more than 90 years, World Learning has equipped individuals and institutions to address the world’s most pressing problems. We believe that, working together with our partners, we can change this world for the better.
On my travels, I’ve had the opportunity to meet with many of those who have joined us in this mission. In Baghdad, we’ve trained more than 2,300 Iraqi youth who are already giving back at home. In London, our partners in the TAAP Initiative strongly believe that we are all responsible to practice inclusion. And in Vermont, our Experiment in International Living and School for International Training participants prove every day that they have the tools and the determination to change the world.
Please join us in our pursuit of a more peaceful and just world.

Give a Gift. Change the World.
Creating a more sustainable, peaceful, and just world means building on the strength of all our programs—through World Learning, The Experiment, and School for International Training—to meet the global challenges ahead of us. Through an experiential learning model, we nurture deeper thinking, broaden perspectives, and expand worldviews through our 241 current program offerings.
Addressing today’s critical global issues can feel overwhelming; yet they demand a response. Conflict, economic uncertainty, extremism, health and climate crises all remain stark reminders of the important role our institution continues to play in strengthening changemakers, communities, and systems capable of responding to these challenges. We know our programs have the power to tackle these issues head on.
The world needs us more than ever. Your support may not change the world, but it will change someone’s world and its benefits will be multiplied across countless global communities. Our students, participants, and alumni gain new perspectives, worldviews, skills, and career paths. They advance research, shape policies, and build up systems. They advocate for causes, solve problems, and foster resilient communities. Your gift allows us to fund this lasting impact. Your gift has the power to change lives.
