About Us
Welcome Message from Carol Jenkins, CEOSince 1932, World Learning has been an education and exchange organization delivering exceptional programs that strengthen individuals, institutions, and communities worldwide.
Our programs foster deeper understanding and reflect the strengths of U.S. education and professional excellence. Participants strengthen their expertise, share knowledge, and build lasting partnerships.
Throughout my years at World Learning, I have had the privilege of meeting many of our participants, partners, and alumni—a truly dedicated global network. Our programs promote innovative solutions and create safer, stronger communities.
World Learning remains focused on excellence, accountability, and impact. We are proud of our long history and the tangible results our participants achieve in their communities and professions.

STEAM Discovery Center
Program Description
A hub for innovation where young minds flourish. The STEAM Discovery Center is an extracurricular STEAM education and teacher training institution.
The STEAM Discovery Center is an extracurricular STEAM education and teacher training institution. At the Center, we encourage every member to think creatively, solve real-world problems, and challenge their limitations. Our programs are fun, project-based learning experiences where students can make connections between school, their community, and the broader world. Our teacher training programs provide teachers with expertise in modern pedagogical best practices, such as experiential learning, Universal Design for Learning, and reflective practice, that will help spread our passion for STEAM teaching across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
To my surprise, I noticed that my students were extremely happy when they had the chance to express their understanding of the lesson even though they made mistakes. The engagement of my students was so high that three students refused to leave my session when it ended and kept writing on the board.
Afaf Alharbi, Online STEAM Teacher Training alumna
