Arts Envoy Program

Program Description

The Arts Envoy Program sends key artists, musicians, and cultural experts from the U.S. abroad to interact and consult with vital foreign audiences across the globe.

The program promotes an improved understanding of U.S. social, political, and economic perspectives, and enhances awareness of U.S. culture and society. The program aims to establish long-lasting relationships between foreign audiences, institutions, and Arts Envoys, with the goal of sharing skills and knowledge on a global scale. Engagements include performances, workshops, meetings, seminars, and appearances in foreign media, which address topics identified by the U.S. Department of State and embassies.
