Paola González Angulo is the Higher Education for Economic Growth Language education specialist for World Learning in El Salvador. She has worked in the field of English Language Training (ELT) for 22 years. She has been a teacher trainer in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) and Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL) in El Salvador and Central America for 10 years. She is an active presenter for higher education institution faculty and students, primarily in language teaching methodologies, strategies, and techniques. Over the years, she has participated and presented in various conferences in Central America. González has also had ample experience teaching English as a Foreign Language to children, teens, and adults. She has taught, supervised, and coordinated several language programs in different educational institutions in El Salvador. She holds a bachelor's degree in Education with a specialty in English and pre-school teaching. She also holds a Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language post graduate degree from the University of Jaen in Spain. She is currently completing her practicum for an master's degree in Teaching English as a Foreign Language at Universidad Iberoamericana de México, and her thesis for a master's degree in Educational Policies and Evaluation at Universidad Centro Americana José Simeon Cañas in El Salvador.
