World Learning Names Global Human Resources Officer

Donald Steinberg, president and CEO of World Learning, announced today that Rachel Henry, currently human resources director, will become the new vice president of global human resources.

“We are delighted that Rachel is rising through the ranks at World Learning,” Steinberg said. “She has been a key staff member staff for more than eight years and knows the organization well. In her time here, Rachel has overseen all aspects of human resources and proven herself as a leader. I also want to thank outgoing Senior Vice President for Global Human Resources Ross Gibson for his almost two years of outstanding service with World Learning.”

Henry joined World Learning in 2005 as senior benefit analyst before being promoted to human resources director in 2009. She previously served as human resources director of Leonard & Zarr Inc. and holds a bachelor’s degree in sociology, with a minor in English, from the University of Vermont.
