What We Do
- WHERE WE WORK
Welcome Message from Carol Jenkins
For more than 85 years, World Learning has equipped individuals and institutions to address the world’s most pressing problems. We believe that, working together with our partners, we can change this world for the better.
On my travels, I’ve had the opportunity to meet with many of those who have joined us in this mission. In Baghdad, we’ve trained more than 2,300 Iraqi youth who are already giving back at home. In London, our partners in the TAAP Initiative strongly believe that we are all responsible to practice inclusion. And in Vermont, our Experiment in International Living and School for International Training participants prove every day that they have the tools and the determination to change the world.
Please join us in our pursuit of a more peaceful and just world.
- Get Involved
World Learning is a rewarding place to work. Our education, development, and exchange programs are transformative. We help people find their voices, connect with their communities, strengthen the institutions that form the backbone of a democratic society, and build relationships across cultures—all in pursuit of a more peaceful and just world.
Why Work for World Learning
World Learning applies the same philosophy to building our team as we employ in our work around the world. We offer an inclusive and supportive environment that values the contributions of our colleagues across all departments and areas of expertise. We nurture leadership skills, lifelong learning, and collaborative working relationships among our staff members. And we offer opportunities designed to help employees succeed in their careers, including generous benefits, flexible schedules, professional development funds, and tuition assistance for graduate-level programs through our accredited sister academic institution, School for International Training.
