Welcome Message from Carol Jenkins
For more than 85 years, World Learning has equipped individuals and institutions to address the world’s most pressing problems. We believe that, working together with our partners, we can change this world for the better.
On my travels, I’ve had the opportunity to meet with many of those who have joined us in this mission. In Baghdad, we’ve trained more than 2,300 Iraqi youth who are already giving back at home. In London, our partners in the TAAP Initiative strongly believe that we are all responsible to practice inclusion. And in Vermont, our Experiment in International Living and School for International Training participants prove every day that they have the tools and the determination to change the world.

Amy Fisher Bruey
- Undergraduate Programs Manager, Exchange & Training Unit
Amy Fisher Bruey is the Undergraduate Programs Manager for World Learning’s Academic Exchange Team. She manages large-scale exchange programs such as the U.S. Department of State-funded Global UGRAD, which brings future leaders to the U.S. to experience the U.S. educational system, share their culture, and explore U.S. culture and values. Fisher Bruey also works across teams to represent World Learning and recruit host institutions at conferences nationally. She develops online course content and leads the design and implementation of annual conferences that bring together as many as 150 students to explore cross-cultural learning, civic engagement, and leadership. Fluent in Spanish, Fisher Bruey’s primary regional expertise focuses on Latin America and the Middle East. She holds a bachelor's degree in Spanish and communications from John Carroll University and a master’s degree in international education from the George Washington University.
