Regional
Expertise Exchanges
World Learning STAR Network uses its regional expertise in training
and technical assistance to strengthen capacities of NGOs, businesses
and political leaders; to build coalitions; and to develop the strategic
use of media for effective issue campaigns. Media advocacy training
and Central and Eastern European expertise in women's economic and
political empowerment augment existing regional activities.
Expertise exchanges may take the form of participant observations;
applications of successful projects, training or technical assistance
provided by experts in another country; and/or the attendance of
important conferences and training courses in the region.
