Whether you are an SIT, Experiment, or other World Learning program alumnus/a, participating in a World Learning program is just the beginning of lifelong engagement with a global network of contacts, resources, and opportunities. World Learning and its family of programs offer a number of ways to stay up-to-date with us and to connect with alumni and current students from across the organization.
Use the resources below to find out how to stay engaged after your program ends.
World Learning shares information in a variety of ways. Sign up today for the monthly e-newsletter with updates on programs and alumni. In between issues, be sure to read our World Learning NOW blog featuring posts by staff, students, alumni, and others. The blog is an open discussion, welcoming ideas, thoughts, and comments on a wide range of pressing global themes and issues.
For more frequent updates, follow us on any of our many social networks including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Google+. Check your program’s individual webpages for information on their social media presence.
There are also many opportunities to become a recruiter and share your experiences with prospective participants. Alumni can offer to mentor students and other alumni, host a dinner for a study abroad student, or volunteer at events. To become an “alumni contact,” send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
