Duration: April 2013 to April 2018
This Participant Training Program Ukraine supports the country’s economic and social transition with professional training programs for 350 participants. Programs take place in the US, Europe, and Ukraine, on topics as wide-ranging as E-governance, youth living with disabilities, and education innovations. Programs in the US include homestays to build understanding between the peoples of the two countries.
This $8.9 million project also engages high-level technical advisors to work closely with Ukraine’s governmental institutions. The Ukrainian organization Consortium for Enhancement of Ukrainian Management Education plays a major role on the project, and nonprofit PH International provides additional support.
The project is funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development as a task order under the Focus on Results: Enhancing Capacity across Sectors in Transition II-Participant Training contract (FORECAST II-PT). For additional information visit the CEUME website or the project’s Facebook page (both in Ukranian).
