Morehouse was previously head of Gorge Discovery School in Hood River, Ore., and also served as executive director of the Oregon-based Columbia Gorge Ecology Institute. Heis a leading expert in cultural immersion, experiential education and student programming in critical global issues.

WASHINGTON (August 19, 2013) – The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) has signed a contract with World Learning to implement a $33.9 million program, called Training for Pakistan,which will offer short and long-term education opportunities to more than 6,000 Pakistani professionals over the next four years. The program is designed to support Pakistan’s development priorities in the sectors of energy, economic growth, agriculture, health, and education.
