Massachusetts English Language Teacher Initiative 4

The Massachusetts English Language Teacher Development Initiative provides educational support to school teachers who wish to take the Massachusetts Test for Educator Licensure and become teachers of English as a Second Language (ESL) in the Massachusetts public schools.  Participating teachers attend sessions on linguistics, second-language acquisition, and pedagogy; work with a mentor-coach; and take part in a clinical-review process with an outside observer.
