Master of Arts in Intercultural Service, Leadership, and Management
Degree Requirements
Completion of three phases of study, plus demonstration of language and culture proficiency.
PHASE I: Academic Coursework—taking core courses required for all PIM degrees, required courses for chosen degree, and electives (September through May on campus)
PHASE II: Professional Practicum—testing out the knowledge, skills, and self-understanding acquired in the campus phase (a minimum of six months in the workplace)
PHASE III: Capstone Paper And Seminar—reassessing theoretical knowledge in light of professional experience by writing a final research paper (six to eight months, multiple drafts), then presenting it to the SIT community (one week on campus)
