Master of Arts in Conflict Transformation

As a student of SIT's Conflict Transformation degree, you will be part of a supportive learning community that emphasizes reflection, self-knowledge, and cultural awareness. You will develop practical skills in interethnic dialogue, intercommunal relationship building, mediation, negotiation, and group facilitation in preparation for positions with governments, educational institutions, nongovernmental organizations, the media, the private sector, and other professional venues.

SIT provides a comprehensive education in the interrelated causes of contemporary conflict, as well as training in strategies that aid in the reconciliation and transformation of intractable divisions. Your learning will derive from faculty instruction as well as personal practice, analysis, and experience.
