Alumni Mentors

Bicycles in Switzerland

Alumni mentors for each program are available to help prospective and admitted students, whether students need help choosing a program, want to know what an ISP is like, or need packing advice. SIT Study Abroad coordinators are available in the Brattleboro office to help answer questions and advise on programs, but sometimes a fellow student who has recently completed the program can really shed some light on a subject.

Alumni mentors are available via email, and have generally participated in the program within the previous three semesters. Things change on programs, and each mentor speaks from his or her own experience – please remember that they offer advice, but if you need fact or guarantees, please ask the SIT Study Abroad office itself.

It’s helpful to speak with alumni mentors at any point in the program – and they’re happy to help. They provide a wonderful source of information, and they love talking about their experiences. SIT Study Abroad is grateful to have alumni helping students and contributing to the success of students who come after them, and we hope that students will not hesitate to contact these wonderful volunteers.
