External Scholarships

- Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarships - for students receiving federal need-based financial aid.
- National Security Education Program (NSEP) Boren Scholarships - for study abroad in countries other than in Western Europe, Australia, New Zealand, and Canada.

Other Loan Options
Students may decide that they need additional support in the form of an alternative (private) education loan or a Parent PLUS Loan. In most cases it is possible for your home college to certify these loans as they do your other financial aid. Please note that because students are not enrolled in a degree-granting program at SIT, we are unable to certify these loans for study abroad students.
