• Joint Conference with SIT Study Abroad and the University of Notre Dame
  (November 13, 2008) SIT Study Abroad is pleased to announce a new partnership with the Ford Family Foundation of the Kellogg Institute for International Studies at the University of Notre Dame.  This collaboration has resulted in a new conference to show case undergraduate research focused specifically on human rights and human development.
• SIT Alum Azi Hussain: Building Peace Across Religious Divides
  (November 12, 2008) SIT Graduate Institute alum, Azhar Hussain, has applied insights from his graduate studies for establishing understanding and peace in Muslim communities in Pakistan and Afghanistan.
• SIT Graduate Institute alum helps provide primary health care and education in Tibet
  (October 07, 2008) Kunchok Gyaltsen used the tools he gained at SIT in the late 90s to grow programs that now provide primary health care and education to thousands of underserved women and children in rural Amdo, Tibet (now part of China's Qinghai province) through the Tibetan Healing Fund.
• Adam Weinberg and World Learning Board Members Help Launch National Presidents' Initiative For Citizen Diplomacy
  (October 06, 2008) World Learning Executive Vice President, Adam Weinberg, and Trustees Sherry Mueller and Tom Fox are among 40 U.S. leaders who have formulated a National Presidents’ Initiative for Citizen Diplomacy to dramatically improve international relations throughout the world.
• SIT Study Abroad Appoints Dean of Student Affairs
  (September 20, 2008) New Dean of Student Affairs, Michael Smallis, will be responsible for student life, health, safety, and security issues for the approximately 2,000 students each year who participate in SIT Study Abroad's programs in 50 countries.
