Anthony Allen
Co-Director, The Experiment in International Living
Allen joined World Learning in 1995 after over ten years of work in the academic and non-profit industries, most recently as the Director of Public Affairs Projects at Prep for Prep Youth Mentoring program in New York City.
Prior to joining Prep for Prep, Allen held a position at the City University of New York as the Assistant to the Dean of International Programs. He has also volunteered with the New York City Public Library Literacy Training program, and served as Director of Volunteers at IMPACT NYC, an education program for children and families in transitional homeless shelters in New York City.
Allen received his BA in Government and Third World Studies from Oberlin College, and MA in Public Policy at the City University of New York. He lives with his wife and two children in Montclair, New Jersey.
