Community Projects
World Learning works with government agencies and local partners to carry out overseas development projects that promote democratic change and support peace, economic development, and social justice.
Headquartered in Washington, D.C., with local offices in more than 20 countries, our team includes more than 450 professionals worldwide. Working in partnership with communities, World Learning programs help develop the skills of individuals and strengthen the capacities of local organizations to be effective advocates for and agents of social change.
With a focus on Civil Society and Governance, Education, Children at Risk, and HIV/AIDS, our programs emphasize innovations appropriate to the local setting that create practical and enduring learning experiences.
