Regional Networks

Are you interested in connecting with others who share a similar global view of the world? Do you want to network with folks in your area who share similar intercultural and international interests? Or, do you simply want to talk to someone who knows what living and working in a foreign country is all about? If so, then we encourage you to join a regional network in your area.

World Learning’s regional alumni networks allow alums of the Experiment and SIT programs to connect locally with each other. If you are interested in meeting like-minded individuals, then fill out the network questionnaire for your area.

Regional alumni networks have been established in areas throughout the US where we have a high concentration of alums.  Depending on the interest of the group, network members organize a variety of events, such as:

  • Potlucks
  • Happy hours
  • Group discounts to cultural events
  • Lectures
  • Service days
  • Professional Networking sessions

World Learning also sponsors more formal events in each region annually.  For more information on events, visit our Upcoming Events calendar. Each network may also communicate via a listserv where members discuss ideas for future gatherings, post information about interesting events or activities in the area, and stay in touch with each other between meetings.

For information on existing networks and subscribing to regional listservs, visit:
