Program Highlights
Development Field Visits
From Amman, the group visits organizations in the field working on sustainable development, environmental protection, eco-tourism, and resource management. Sites may include Dana Wildlife Preserve, the Badia Region (desert region in Eastern Jordan to look at grazing and water management), and/or the Dead Sea.
Arava Institute for Environmental Studies
The Arava Institute brings together Jewish, Arab, and other students to examine environmental issues together and works for peace and sustainable development. Students find this Institute a unique place to learn about cross-border environmental issues.
