Coursework

This program incorporates interdisciplinary coursework, including Arabic language, field research methodology, and independent research, to address key issues of Omani culture and society today, economics, energy and energy policy, and Oman’s place in the region and internationally.  Students will complete this program with detailed knowledge of Oman and a better understanding of international energy policy, economics and banking.

The following syllabi are either from a recent session of this program or for an upcoming session. Because courses develop and change over time to take advantage of dynamic learning opportunities, actual course content will vary from term to term.

The syllabi can be useful for students, faculty, and study abroad offices in assessing credit transfer. Read more about credit transfer.
