Advanced Social Research Methods - Syllabi forthcoming

Advanced academic training in the areas of ethnography, field-based research, ethics, cross-cultural concerns, and research methods in preparation for the field research component of the program.

Contemporary Issues Seminar - Syllabi forthcoming
(LACB 3500/ 2 credits/30 class hours)
Lectures, discussions, round table forums, and educational visits provide students with the opportunity to explore some of the most salient contemporary issues in Chile, the Southern Cone region, and South America.

Advanced Research Project - Syllabi forthcoming
(ISPR 3600/ 4 credits/120 class hours)
Participants conduct advanced research, either independently, or in the context of a government agency, nongovernmental organization, or business. Advisors mentor the students’ research and experience.
