Program Highlights

Geneva

The location and history of Geneva, hosting a great number of international and nongovernmental organizations, have determined its truly international nature. The international community of Geneva provides a unique opportunity to study with experts of academic and international organizations. Their knowledge and field experience provide concrete illustrations of multilateral diplomacy in the areas of conflict resolution, integration, development, environment, complex emergencies, and security issues. Numerous institutional libraries, documentation centers, and think tanks offer excellent research material and information.

Network with International Experts

Experts of academic and international organizations challenge students' thinking through critical discourse. Students may have opportunities to interact with participants at international conferences and meetings of the United Nations and international organizations in Geneva. Diplomats and experts advise students' participation in the discussion, reporting, and publishing of documents and the independent project.

Further Career and Personal Goals

Interactive research studies provide students with practical experience for academic and professional development. Students develop confidence in one's ability to complete a field study paper, including interviewing and individual and group research methods. Students have the opportunity to begin creating a solid professional network and form a concrete base for future academic and professional career choices.
