Program Highlights
Two Tracks to Suit Student Needs

This program includes two tracks – A and B – that allow all language level students to follow seminars and complete field study projects at his or her appropriate level. These tracks combine optimal language learning with a strong emphasis on content. Specific differences between tracks include the following: Track A students will complete more language instruction hours and begin Seminar courses later in the term, while Track B students begin Seminars earlier with fewer language instruction hours. In terms of fieldwork, Track A students’ field work consists of a Field Study Project (FSP) while Track B students complete an Independent Study Project (ISP). For excursions, all students will travel together except for the final excursion where Track A and B follow the same itinerary but at separate times.
Please read more for student eligibility and application guidelines.
Andalusia
Explore all parts of Andalusia, including rural villages. Students interact with many community organizations in Granada, and learn about specific topics through independent field research. On excursion, students will stay with a rural homestay and experience rare pockets of life in Spain.
Language with Purpose
Whether starting from the beginner, intermediate, or advanced level, students make astounding progress on this program. Intensive language classes are taught using creativity and excellent pedagogy, and students are motivated to use their language with the community. When students are part of an important content-based conversation, they often surprise themselves by their ability to express themselves in Spanish.
