Naana Opoku-Agyemang, Academic Director
Naana Opoku-Agyemang received her B.A. in Education from the University of Cape Coast, Ghana, and her M.A. and Ph.D. from York University in Toronto, Canada. She is currently a professor of literature in the Department of English at the University of Cape Coast, Ghana. She has also taught courses at Eastern Washington University and York University. Dr. Opoku-Agyemang has published many articles on the topic of African women's literature and wrote a book on writing skills. She was a Fulbright Senior Scholar and fellow at the Institute for Advanced Study and Research into the African Humanities at Northwestern University. Dr. Opoku-Agyemang has been the Academic Director for the Ghana: African Diaspora Studies program since 1997.
