Transportation
In addition to a free van services run by SIT to transport students to and from the campus to the downtown Brattleboro area, there are a number of other modes of transportation available in the region, including:- AMTRAK - The northbound AMTRAK train #56 goes from Washington, DC, via New York City to Brattleboro. The southbound train #55 from Burlington and Essex Junction also comes to Brattleboro daily.
- Brattleboro taxi service is available from 6:00am to midnight, daily.
- Curley's Shuttle service -- "Curley the Courier". Work number 802.254.4462 (8:00 am to 11:00 pm). Cell number 802.380.5121 (7:00 am to 11:00 pm) With advanced notice he will pick someone up...or transport them anywhere... at ANY time...day or night.
- Peter Pan Bus Lines runs a shuttle service from Bradley International Airport in Hartford, Connecticut to Springfield, Massachusetts, where you may connect with a Vermont Transit Lines bus to Brattleboro, Vermont.
- Thomas Transportation, which runs a limousine service from both Logan and Bradley airports, and which will bring you directly to campus.
- Vermont Transit Lines, which provides service from South Station in Boston to Brattleboro. A shuttle service connects Logan Airport with South Station.
- You can also reach Brattleboro from New York's Kennedy Airport by taking an airport bus or subway to the Port Authority Bus Station in Manhattan and then taking a Vermont Transit Lines or Peter Pan Bus Lines.
