Undergraduate and Graduate Academic Exchanges
World Learning's versatility and experience conducting academic exchanges is demonstrated by the extraordinarily wide range of programs it has managed. Exchange participants have included undergraduate students from Latin America and from East Asia and the Pacific coming to the US for one semester or one-year programs; Afghan graduate students on a long-term degree program; Malawi participants obtaining their undergraduate degrees; students from the Middle East-North Africa, Serbia, and Montenegro placed at universities for a year of undergraduate work; or young Iraqis studying at specially-designed university summer institutes aimed at developing leadership.
With a demonstrated success record in placing and monitoring undergraduate and graduate students in US community colleges, universities, and technical schools nationwide, World Learning has worked with over 800 institutions to design programs to meet both participant and funding agency training objectives. World Learning manages the recruitment, selection, placement, and monitoring of students from around the world. It currently handles students from almost 50 countries who are studying on US campuses on one-semester, one-year, undergraduate, and masters' programs. All of these programs are enhanced by community service activities and leadership skills building.
