Higher Education

For over forty years World Learning has worked in the field of higher education to enhance the capacity and commitment of individuals, institutions and communities to create a more peaceful and just world.

Through World Learning's fully-accredited SIT Graduate Institute (formerly the School for International Training), World Learning offers Master's degree programs in a range of subject areas including international education, language teaching, intercultural leadership and management, conflict transformation, and sustainable development. Programs are designed to develop the essential knowledge, skills, and attitudes needed to prepare individuals to act as agents of social change.

Each year World Learning's SIT Study Abroad delivers field-based programming in forty countries to over 2,000 undergraduates from 200 colleges and universities around the US.  Similarly, World Learning works with more than 800 institutions globally to place undergraduate and graduate students from around the world on a range of academic programs within the United States. In addition, World Learning delivers and oversees training to tens of thousands of adult professionals across a broad range of disciplines.

World Learning works with institutions of higher and vocational education to develop institutional and faculty capacity in program design and curricular innovation to more effectively address the changing demands of society, economy and government.
