A group hikes in the French Alps.

During your three-day orientation in Paris, become an expert at negotiating the Metro, visit the Arc de Triomphe and the Louvre, and meander down the Champs Elysées. Practice French as you and your group visit local vendors to buy breads, pastries, fruits, and cheeses for a picnic lunch.

Homestay and Alps Adventure

Group in the mountains

After your 17-day homestay, hike through the rugged Alps with your group. Immerse yourself in the dramatic landscape as you trek through alpine fields, climb massive glaciers, try out your mountaineering skills, and practice French with local shepherds in fairy-tale villages. Your program concludes with a hike over the Italian border for an overnight in the mountains.
