France: Biking in Brittany

Program Overview

Orientation in Paris
During your three-day orientation in Paris, become an expert at negotiating the Metro, visit the Arc de Triomphe and the Louvre, and meander down the Champs Elysées. Practice French as you and your group visit local vendors to buy breads, pastries, fruits, and cheeses for a picnic lunch.

Biking in Brittany
Following your 17-day homestay, hop on a bike to experience the French countryside up close. You cycle 25 to 40 miles a day, journeying across sheer headlands overlooking fine-sand beaches, to medieval towns and majestic castles, and to the Bréhat Islands, where you spend the day snorkeling the crystal waters. Bicycles are provided.
